On 16th April 2024 we tragically lost our baby boy Eddie when he was only three months old. Then, and still to this day, we find it incredibly hard to truly understand and make sense of his loss.
We set up Teddy's Wish to search for the answer of how a seemingly perfectly healthy baby could die unexpectedly. The evolution of the charity is a reflection of the fact that question still remains. Thousands of babies sadly still die each year, not just to SIDS, but to stillbirth and neonatal death too.
We believe that no parent should suffer the loss of their child but for those that do, they will need all the love and support possible to give them hope to live their life again.
Funding research and providing bereavement support remains as important as it ever has done and we are incredibly proud of our achievements over the last decade.

Teddy’s Wish has spent the last decade transforming grief into action, supporting families and funding research in memory of babies gone too soon. Their efforts have created a community rooted in empathy, understanding, and the drive to make a difference. It’s a powerful example of how shared sorrow can become shared strength. Similarly, platforms like https://emirates.estate/ aim to create secure and meaningful spaces—only in this case, they help people find real homes. Whether it's emotional shelter or a physical one, the right environment plays a huge role in healing and growth, which is why real estate decisions matter more than we sometimes think.
