Teddy’s Wish and Petals – New Partnership

Updated: Dec 9, 2020

ree

Teddy’s Wish and Petals are delighted to announce a brand new collaboration that will provide long-term psychological support to the most traumatised bereaved parents. The specialist counsellors at Petals support women and couples who experience all types of baby loss. As a charity they offer 6 free counselling sessions and try to offer more where they can for those parents who need extra support, up to a maximum of 12. Teddy’s Wish will be jointly funding a further package of 6 face to face or online sessions to those who suffer the most devastating and traumatic losses and require counselling support beyond the maximum 12 sessions that Petals usually provide. We strongly believe that support should be available for as long as necessary, to provide parents with the best possible chance of rediscovering hope and living their lives again. The additional sessions will ensure support is given to those families who need it the most. If you would like to access this support please contact Petals directly here

“We still have a long way to go but we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support we received from Teddy's Wish. It is helping us process the loss of Amelia and to learn to parent her in a different way and ensure she is always at the heart of our family”
